How to play Baccarat

Online Baccarat is predominantly a game of chance that requires the player to determine or predict whose hand, the player or the banker, will be the closest to the value of 9. Some Online Baccarat games may result in a tie, thus there are three possible outcomes that need to be considered when making a bet.

In Online Baccarat, the King, Queen, Jack and 10 count as 0, while the Ace counts as 1 and all other cards count as their face value. Unlike Blackjack, there is no such thing as a “bust”, however, in some cases the banker or the player, or both, may be dealt a third card according to third card rules.

If either the player or the banker’s hand is equal to the value of 8 or 9, then none of them are dealt a third card and both are forced to stand. If the player’s hand is equal to the value of 5 or less, then the player is dealt another card. The same rule applies to the banker, who will be dealt a third card if he has a value of 5 or less and the player has opted to stand. 

The one with a hand closest to 9 wins. If, for example, two cards result in a total of 16, then the last number is taken as the final figure.

How to win at Online Baccarat

Winning at Online Baccarat is easy given that the player is limited to only three possible outcomes. A bet on a tie provides the best return (8:1), while a bet on the player or the banker provides an even return (1:1). If the hand results in a tie and the player didn’t bet on a tie, then the bet is returned and a new game can begin.
